For over 12 years, the team of the American Academy of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork has successfully promoted Asian massage techniques that are completely different from traditional European methods from the East Coast to the West Coast. This includes Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui-na, Thai Massage, India Tapping, Back Walking, Acupuncture Point, Meridian ) and 4 hands massage (4 Hands Massage).
Ten years ago, foot reflexology was successfully introduced into the United States, and won the acceptance and praise of people from all walks of life.
Under the spirit of “traditional, diverse and innovative”, the school will provide rich and high-quality teaching and practice. We are sure that every student will become the best masseur and successful massage shop operator when they graduate!
The Texas Department of State Health Services currently requires 500 hours of course instruction to become licensed. This consists of 450 classrooms hours and 50 hours of internship. American Academy of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork curriculum is designed to fulfill the 500 hours required by Texas Department of State Health Services (TX DSHS). The intensive 7 month program, available in day, evening sessions, is state approved and meets all state licensing requirements.
